Introducing WordStat 2024 February 19, 2024 - News & events

Provalis Research is pleased to announce the release of WordStat 2024. This new version implement an important speed improvement on the initial text processing. On large numbers of small documents, it can up to 3 times faster than before.  WordStat 2024 also offers several new features such as:

• A new data transformation feature using WordStat automatic document classification models.
• A much enhanced language detection for 37 languages with accuracy over 98% for very short text and above 99.5% for longer documents.
• Advanced filtering of KWIC Tables with up to three conditions.
• New pre-processing option to filter in or out text using lists of keywords or key phrases.
• Graphics may now be copied to the clipboard in tab-delimited format.
• New options to highlight or filter out from the list of suggested phrases those already in the categorization dictionary.
• It is now possible to add items to the categorization dictionary from 2D correspondence plots and deviation tables.
• One may set a minimum frequency for the suggested phrases.
• Faster and more precise coding of sentences (from the keyword retrieval feature).

This new version also profit from important improvement implemented in the last months of 2023. One important improvement worth mentioning is the much improve phrase suggestion feature, providing users with more semantically and statistically related phrases, making the process of identifying relevant phrases easier.
