Workshop: Introduction to Content Analysis with WordStat January 19, 2021 - News & events

Provalis Research in collaboration with the Mixed Methods International Research Association – Caribbean Chapter (MMIRA-CC) will give a FREE 3-hour workshop on content analysis, a powerful deductive technique for text analysis. The workshop will be held online, Friday, February 26, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm Eastern Time.

Content analysis approach allows analysts and researchers to identify the degree to which specific concepts or topics are present within a large volume of documents. You will learn how to build dictionaries with multiple categories and subcategories containing words, word patterns, phrases, and rules that are then used to extract specific content of interest. Provalis Research CEO, Normand Peladeau, will demonstrate how to build, validate, and deploy a categorization dictionary to answer specific research questions or test hypotheses.
